Copyright Ownership

All recipes, photographs, videos, articles, graphics, designs, and any other material (collectively, “Content”) published on tastyrecipes (the “Site”) are the exclusive property of tastyrecipes and are protected by United States copyright law, the Berne Convention, and other international treaties. The Site’s Content is original or has been licensed to us with full rights to display, reproduce, and distribute it on the Site. No portion of the Content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, transmitted, or otherwise used without the express written permission of tastyrecipes, except as expressly permitted in this policy.

Permitted Use

We encourage our community to enjoy and share the culinary inspiration found on tastyrecipes. The following uses are expressly permitted without prior written consent:

All permitted uses must retain the original attribution (see the “Content Attribution” section) and must not remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice, trademark, or proprietary legend that appears on the Content.

Prohibited Use

The following actions constitute a violation of tastyrecipes’ copyright and may result in legal action:

• Re‑publication: Republishing, reposting, or distributing any Content (in whole or in part) on another website, blog, e‑book, mobile application, or any other platform without explicit written permission from tastyrecipes.

DMCA Compliance & Takedown Process

tastyrecipes respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). If you are a copyright holder or an authorized agent and believe that material on the Site infringes your rights, please submit a DMCA takedown notice that includes the following elements:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a reasonable description thereof.
3. Identification of the material on tastyrecipes that is allegedly infringing, including a precise URL or other location details.
4. A statement that you have a good‑faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright holder.
6. Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

Send the completed notice to: copyright@tastyrecipes.us. Upon receipt, tastyrecipes will act promptly to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material while we investigate the claim. If the material is restored, we will provide you with a copy of the restored material and an explanation of why it was reinstated.

If you believe that your material was removed in error, you may submit a counter‑notice containing:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good‑faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

The counter‑notice should also be sent to copyright@tastyrecipes.us. Upon receipt, tastyrecipes will restore the material within ten (10) business days unless the original complainant files a court action seeking a restraining order or injunction.

Content Attribution

Proper attribution is required whenever you share a link to tastyrecipes content or quote a short excerpt (up to 90 characters) for non‑commercial purposes. The attribution must include:

• Author/Creator: The name of the recipe author as displayed on the page.
• Source: The full URL of the page where the content originated (e.g., https://tastyrecipes.us/recipes/chocolate-chip-cookies).
• Copyright Notice: The phrase “© tastyrecipes, 2025” (or the appropriate year of the original publication).
